I trust that you are enjoying the coda of an amazing summer! August is well underway and we're excited to share some of the studio's recent highlights along with upcoming events at SouL Dance Studio in Lakewood Ranch!

Student Success at the Florida Dancesport Championships!

We're thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our talented students Scott Brookes, John Hartter, and Marco La Manno at the Florida Dancesport Championships in Sarasota, Florida. Their performances were beautiful, showcasing their incredibly hard work and dedication. I am so proud to have shared the dancefloor with all of you.

Congratulations on your success and for bringing home some exciting awards!

As this was a local event in Sarasota, we are grateful to everyone who came to support us, cheering on the SouL Dance team! It was special having so many encouraging extended family members and friends in the crowd at the event.

This event also marked the first performance and debut with my new professional dance partner Kakha Turiashvili! We have been working together for several months on new routines and choreography. 🔥 New Group Classes for August 🔥

We are getting footloose and fancy free this August with lively group dance classes featuring intermediate Rumba and advanced-level West Coast Swing styles!

Tuesday Classes

Join us on Tuesday nights in the studio at Lakewood ranch for "the dance of love." Yes, that's right, we're talking about Rumba—the expressive and sensual rhythm dance from Cuba. Known as a ballroom dance that is flirtatious and intimate, you'll love learning Rumba with us this month. Bring your partner or come solo!

Wednesday Classes

Come and showcase your fancy footwork with our Advanced-level West Coast Swing group classes on Wednesday evenings in August. Known for its emphasis on improvisation with a laid-back, relaxed style, West Coast Swing is fun for everyone. The best part? You can perform West Coast Swing to several music genres, including pop, R&B, jazz, and blues. No partner necessary.

Children's Group Classes for August

School is starting back soon! I know, I know, summer is over and we're just as bummed as you are. 😏 But, wait! We are moving our kid's group dance classes into the evening now, so you don't have to miss out. 😄

That's right! Tuesday evenings in August we'll be continuing our kid's dance classes focusing on acro, ballet, and ballroom. Bring a friend and get involved in something creative, healthy, and rewarding this fall!

Thursday Latin Group Classes

We continue each week with our adult Salsa and Bachata group class series on Thursday nights. These classes are progressive and fun! No matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancer, we'll teach you new moves for the social dance floor, building new patterns into your current routines. No partner necessary, or bring a date for a fun night out!

Special Coaching Opportunity

We're delighted to welcome back the esteemed Marianne Nicole-Depalma for private coaching sessions on August 14th. This is an excellent opportunity to receive personalized guidance from one of the best in the business. There are limited slots available, so ensure you book your session before Wednesday!
