Well, well. If summer isn't almost gone! Where does the time go?? It's that wonderful time of year when harvests bring the delicious fruits of our labor, the sun begins setting sooner, and the weather becomes crisp again.

Such a wonderful transition time here in Sarasota, Florida, isn't it?!

We are seeing the same fruits of our labor here at SouL Dance Studio in Lakewood Ranch. Our students continue to rake in the rewards of their hard work at competition after competition. 🔥 New Group Classes for August 🔥

The weather might be getting cooler, but the SouL Dance Studio is hot with lively group dance classes featuring intermediate East Coast Swing and advanced-level Cha Cha styles this month!

Tuesday Classes

Join us on Tuesday nights in the studio at Lakewood ranch for this lively, energetic dance style that emerged in the 1940s. East Coast Swing originates from the swing dance tradition of the Big Band era. With its catchy rhythms and playful moves, it's typically danced to upbeat jazz, rock 'n' roll, or blues music. With a distinctive 6-count rhythm, you'll be spinning and turning in no time! No partner necessary.

Wednesday Classes

Come and showcase your fancy footwork with our Advanced-level Cha Cha group classes on Wednesday evenings in September. Cha Cha originated in Cuba during the 50s, blending elements of mambo with a playful 4/4 beat. You've heard the characteristic "cha-cha-cha," I'm sure? Its flirtatious and expressive energy is a fun favorite of both social and competitive ballroom events. No partner necessary.

Children's Group Classes for August

Wow! Have we already been in school for an entire month?? My, how time flies! 😄

Join our growing children's group class on Tuesday evenings in September. We'll be continuing our focus on acro, ballet, and ballroom. Bring a friend and get involved in something creative, healthy, and fun this fall!

Thursday Latin Group Classes

We continue each week with our adult Salsa and Bachata group class series on Thursday nights. These classes are progressive and fun! No matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancer, we'll teach you new moves for the social dance floor, building new patterns into your current routines. No partner necessary, or bring a date for a fun night out!
